Lily Rios

Associate pastor

Lilly Rios was born on May 11, 1959 in Elmhurst Queens, NY and was raised there. In 1982, once married she moved and now resides in CT with her husband, Benjamin, of 34 years. She has two children, Evelys who is married to Jonathan Lopez and Elliot.

Lilly has been a special educator teacher in the school system for 35 years and a coordinator for Birth to Three in the school system for 13 years.

Lilly received Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1987.  She has been in children’s ministry for 28 years.  In July 2004 she came to CCRN and she found a place she would come to call home. In February of 2007 she was ordained as CCRN Children’s Pastor. She introduced VBS, encounters for children, teaching workshops along with many other projects. Her dynamic attitude and sometimes crazy personality allow your children to feel like she’s not just a pastor, she is family.

Her passion for the children’s ministry comes from the amazing love she receives from God daily, knowing whom He is in her life, seeing the wonderful blessings and transformations in people's lives, being able to share His Word to the children so that they truly know and walk the Bible in their daily lives and not be deceived by the people and the things of this world. Most recently she has realized the importance of training teachers in the ministry, as well as guiding parents on how to develop and enhance their children's spiritual lives.
